Floor feels dirty -> bedroom slipper super thin Dirty spots in the corners of bathroom (visible moulds on shower curtain) No towel was given upon us checking in.

Awesome service from the whole Trove Team! Photos on booking.com is identical to what I was welcomed to. Spacious room with view, nice breakfast and great design for the room.

Clean and spacious room

The fridge door is transparent thus the light from it illuminate the room after all the lamp has been switched off at night. Too bright for me to sleep.

Good location

Good location with local street nearby. Housekeeping responded to help clean up the room although it was late at night.

The room was nice but it was not so clean. Found a bottle of peach tea, half full on the floor, barely hidden under the bed. The bedsheet had a dried up blood stain which freaks me out but housekeeping reacted quickly to get it changed.

Very big and spacious room.. Quite cosy with nice view..

Try to clean the TV bench which got few ants sometimes and try to restrict all guests who must check out on dot so that all the house keeping staff will have sufficient time to clean for next guests to check in because we could not check in although we arrived the hotel at almost 5pm but the room was still not ready yet

The check in lady was nice. Helpful throughout my stay. Check out lady seemed friendly too.

3 of us. Only received 1 set of bath towels. Had asked for another bath towel as 1 was wet, as it had fell on the toilet floor. But was told it would be chargeable. No hot water to shower at night. The water in the dispenser in the room had a weird taste. Didn't like the lighting in the room. Staff at the breakfast area not friendly.

Cozy and convenient

Very close to the main road, strategic location too. Therefore going to food or popular places were easy, lots of food located around this hotel as well. Loved that they have a cafe and massage centre in the hotel itself, for lazy days that you don’t feel like going anywhere. And you have Netflix! All the more reason to stay in ????

Room lights are few and therefore the room was quite dim for my liking, a pity the shower curtain can’t be pulled up ????

The bed was comfortable.

The bed was comfortable. Very convenient to have akaline water machine in the room. The breakfast was splendid.

It was disappointed that no staff reply to my email regarding about my special request. I came to celebrate my husband birthday so im requesting for a birthday deco but nobody actually reply me at all.

Trove Hotel

Breakfast was the bomb. Full spread and a wide variety to choose from. Amenities and facilities were in pristine condition.

The staffs made me wait up till wee morning for the "surprised" cake meant for my husband's birthday. I was so disappointed. Some of the lady staffs at the counter could improve on their customer service skills though.

Struggling to return

Trove JB was an enjoyable stay with the staff accommodating their best & its interior stylish with a modern touch. We felt that a double seat sofa / couch would better fill up the empty spaces in the room. However to all guest - Please practice caution when you make your purchases at the family-operated convenience store that at at Level 1 of the Hotel Lobby (next to a disco-pub). As when we first checked into the hotel, we swing by the store to grab 4 short cans of tiger beer (320ml) & was surprised not to see any price tag on any products / shelves. And when we were asked to make payment, it was a total of RM 72 (RM18 / 320 can of Tiger beer, est. sgd 6 / can). Being shocked & did not wish to question further upon the fatigue of reaching at the property we proceeded to our rooms. It was only after a second look at the store that we realised that no price indications were available. It has shown that the hotel management is not active in reviewing their merchants & allow their guest to be at the end of the bargain which will spoil the whole experience from the very beginning. For this very matter, the management should step in to deter further such poor price transparency practices which is supposed to be a common practice in our growing society. I am deeply disappointed that such behaviors are still allowed in our current day & time by unscrupulous vendors only hoping to do that 1-time business transaction and will continue to spread the word required. On a bright-side, Please do drop by Simple Nasi Lemak across the street which has yummy supper from late evening (5-6pm til early morning 1am minimal & some reviews says 2-3am), Fyi they do not have price tags too but the prices are way reasonable for their delicious fried chicken ! (:

Check in and check out was a smooth process.

Check in and check out was a smooth process. Staff from houskeeping, frontdesk, manager on duty, to valets are all friendly. Never fail to smile and greet guests. Hotel's location is superb! Room was super clean. Bed was comfy. Love having water dispenser (hot/normal temp) in our hotel room instead of having to boil for hot water. Really convenient if you're having a baby with you. All hotels should have that water dispenser. Definitely value for money. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!

Amazing

The location was good and convenient , the room i stayed in was very clean , nice and i'm loving the view that i got from the floor that i stayed in. The staff there were very friendly too and they will try to provide help whenever there's a need.
